28th & 29th June 2008: Back to Antigua, although a few of us are feeling a bit ill so don't get up to much. Our last night before this tour ends is pretty much a total disaster - alot of us spend it in bed with a mystery bug, while the others tend to us and ferry back supplies from the pharmacy. 26th & 27th June 2008: Took a chicken bus from Antigua to Panjachel, with a stop off at Chichicastenango market thrown in. The chicken bus is an experience to remember (but possibly not repeat), with kamikaze bus drivers who seem to enjoy driving as close to other traffic (and cliffs, and cows, and anything else in there way) as possible, while the ticket collector is climbing over the roof full of luggage in order to avoid fighting his way through the hoar...

25th June 2008: Travelled to Antigua, first on a large freezing coach, before changing to a smaller bus in Guatemala City. Whilst there we decide to go on a mission to Burger King - probably the only time I will ever seek out a Burger King but I was persuaded by the thought of a chocolate milkshake (they didn't have any). 23rd & 24th June 2008: Travelled to Rio Dulce, then taking a boat to our jungle lodge. Arrived a bit too late to go anywhere in the afternoon so just relaxed in the pool, rather than have a shower (as both the power and water have mysteriously disappeared). 21st & 22nd June 2008: Travel through Belize and into Guatemala. Staying on an island just outside Flores, on Peten Itza lake (I think anyway!). Went for a boat ride in the afternoon, visited a horrible zoo full of unhappy animals (an Ocelot tried to attack me through the fence but I can't blame it, it didn't look very happy!).
