Well I'm sat here in Koh Phangan at the moment and is absolutely chucking it down! We've just got the tail end of the hurricane thats been in Vietnam for the last few days. Hopefully it should pass by tonight as its full moon time! What a time for crap weather?!

Got to Koh Phangan on Monday. Was a little hung over on the ferry over from Koh Tao which was not at all funny. Our bungalows here our cool. A little basic but literally right on our own private beach, I'll post the photos up soon so you can see how amazing it is. The rain today is a bummer though!

Koh Phangan is a little island, quite underdeveloped compared to other islands we've been to so its very hard to get around except by bike. I'm so sorry mum but we did it... we got a scooter! (My mum will seriously kill me when she reads this!). Don't worry I won't be getting one again it was mental. For a start I couldn't even drive it, pooed my pants when tried to turn a corner so Kat did all the driving. We were doing ok til we got to the other side of the island near Had Rin (the main town) and the roads just went mental. Near vertical hills up and down for about a mile. It was scary, in fact I closed my eyes for most of it. Going up was the worse, our little poo bike couldn't make it (especially with me on the back) so we had to do some Flintstones foot action to make it to the top! Oh well at least we didn't stop and roll backwards like some people.... Again I apologise mum and believe me it won't happen again hated every moment ha ha!

So hopefully full moon party will still be on tonight but either way think we'll head down to see whats happening. Think the ferrys from other islands might stop so probably only be people staying on the island will be going but that might be better because instead of 10,000 people on the beach should be more like 4,000! Theres about 20 of us here in our bunglaows so all going to get a taxi van down together.... will let you know how it goes xxxx
