On Sunday we travelled to Kanchanaburi where we are staying in a beautiful hotel next to the river Kwai. We have a pool and river view rooms with balconies, and no bunk beds in sight, it's like paradise! On our first evening we went on a floating restaurant along the river then into town to explore.
Yesterday we went to Erawan National Park and walked up the 7 tiers of the waterfall which was beautiful! Also saw a couple of monkeys! After a delicious lunch we headed back to the hotel for more sunbathing. In the evening we went out for dinner, then finished the day off with a foot massage!
Today we had Thai cooking lessons so I am now an expert at pad Thai, chicken and cashew nuts and also a soup! In the afternoon we went for a boat ride in a Thai style speed boat along the river, and I am currently sat by the pool!! :)
