Unfortunately I didn't get to use my lovely map of Africa on Thursday because the children only had 1 & 1/2hrs of lessons before stopping to clean in preperation for the party. I did however get to teach them English for that hour & a half which went well, and I get the weekend off of lesson planning because I am now ahead of myself. I am also now doing practical arts, which seems to be a mix of everything, but art! I however am going to do actual art with them for the 3 remaining weeks, so I have raided the All Out office and got some paint for them as they can't afford paint at the schools.
The party yesterday was good, except the speeches inbetween in Siswati! The children were great though, they all seem to love singing and dancing and be naturally great at it, I've got some good videos to show you when I get home. It was good to see the traditional dances as well, and we also got some typical Swazi food. I spent yesterday afternoon having a few ciders, and then went out to a Swazi bar, which was different!
Today I am off on a trip to see a bit more of Swaziland and to go zipwiring, so should have lots more to tell you when I get back!
