Just arrived in Byron Bay, have travelled 850km since Sydney. Yesterday we stopped at rainbow beach for a BBQ, also went to a Koala hospital, and then pased through Coffs Harbour before arriving at surf camp at Arrawarra beach. Had a surf lesson this morning which was really good fun, and I even managed to stand up on the board, and I have photographic evidence! Hi everyone, This will be my last blog from Syndey as I am leaving early tomorrow morning to head up the coast. First stop is surf camp so that could be interesting, but got to give it a go!! The weather here in Sydney has been very variable but the last 2 days have been really nice and Sunny. Yesterday I went on a harbour cruise pub crawl! and today went to Toronga zoo which was really good! Looking forward to the next leg of my journey now, wish me luck find...

Been busy in Sydney, went to wildlife world and saw kangaroos and koalas, been up the tower for amazing views, hung out with the cockatoos in the botanical garden. Also been to Manly beach and walked over the bridge at night for the views! Xxx

I have now found some friends to hang around with so went to the aquarium yesterday as it was raining, and as it was sunny today we checked out Bondi Beach. Tomorrow got to go down to the job place and decide whether to stay in Sydney and work or start heading up north and find some work up there!!

Spent today wandering round the city, mostly getting lost, not great with map reading or sense of direction. Anyway, eventually found Darling Harbour, then walked to the bridge, walked over that, then back again! Then I walked to Circular Quay and the Opera house then back through the Botanical gardens with lots of pretty birds and not so pretty bats, then through the city centre. Got a new camera so taken lots Of pics!Job hunting starts tomorrow! Xxx
