Sunday was an early start as we headed across the northern Canterbury Plains towards Kaikoura, my final stop (that I haven't already been to). Kaikoura is famous for it's dolphins and whales but as I have already been so lucky with my sea animal viewings, I chose to save some money. I spent the day relaxing on the beach and playing cards before an early night and some much needed sleep.

Nan&Gdad New Zealand sounds a wonderful place and we are glad you enjoyed it so much. Have a safe journey back to Oz and Catherine and Graham. We are waiting for your Mum (and Ice) to come and visit us so that we can do a bit of (nearly) last minute shopping.
