19th-20th feb- Agnes water

We got to Agnes water around 6pm- it was a day bus here so I guess not as bad! Agnes water is meant to be beautiful and James the guy I booked our trips with was from here too and recommended it so thought why not! :)

When we got off the greyhound there were people there from each different hostel for the backpackers. For this stay I decided to book something a little nicer- our own private cabin with kitchen, lounge, en suite and huge bedroom. So it was nice to actually say to people we were stopping in a nice place rather than a hostel. Don't get me we wrong I don't mind the hostels but like a bit of luxury in between! So as we were figuring out where to go another couple asked us where we were going and they were going to the same place so we ended up talking to them for quite a bit. The lady who owns the place happened to be at the shop near the greyhound so she gave us all a lift back which was lovely of her :) once we had got all settled I cooked us a spag Bol (first time cooking on our east coast trip) I thought I may as well as I'd paid a little extra for this accommodation so may as well make the most of it! After dinner we decided to go to the only pub they have there which was just awful! The staff almost make you feel like they are doing you a favour for serving you! Not great for customer service at all! Anyway after a couple there we got a crate of cider from the bottle shop and stayed in snguggled on the sofa with a film on which was so nice- since I've not done that since leaving home! :)

Luckily we were given a 12pm check out which was fantastic! We had a nice lie in and I made us scrambled eggs and beans on muffins for breakfast :) then we went and sat round the pool all day- we hasn't felt like we'd chilled out much this trip what with moving around every day, so it was nice to just laze around and do nothing! A little later on we went back into the town and found somewhere to eat (not ever any restaurants as such just cafés!). We had a massive pizza and chicken burger ready to prepare us for the overnight greyhound bus!
