Tuesday 11th February

So today we woke up at 6am (body clocks all weird after having an early night last night plus we wanted to be up early to do more with our day!)

We had breakfast in the room- scrambled eggs on toast and then got the 9am ferry. Bundeena is so beautiful but I knew Jamie wanted to see all the sights so I took him into the city. It took about 2 hours for us to get into the city but knew Jamie wanted to go! So when we got there straight away we went to the bridge climb. This is something I'd always wanted to do since being here and I'd managed to convince Jamie to do it too! It was expensive but definitely worth it! We went up in groups and the bit before you start the climb took an hour! (We did wonder why it was 3 1/2 hours for the climb now we knew!). Once we had all our gear on we went up- I was infront of Jamie and infront of me was this old man who was on a world cruise (alright for some eh!). He was sweet enough but annoying throughout most the climb! Although he did seen fitter than me which was quite embarrassing lol! Walking up the bridge was amazing- the views were spectacular! I'd seen the opera house and circular quay plenty of times before but from the bridge was amazing! We had a few photos too which was a bit of a rip off as you had to pay extra which we did as we thought we are only here once and the pics were pretty good! :)

After that we went to look at the opera house and finally I went in the opera bar! Yay! It was amazing! We had a beer and glass of wine with pizza and chips to share which was nice :)

We thought we would have something when we got back to bundeena for dinner so we got the last ferry back only to find everywhere was closed in bundeena so we ended up with a microwave meal! At least we ate in the opera bar too though! Will be sad to leave bundeena as it's so beautiful but very excited for Byron bay! Xx
