its our last day in bangkok. we had a meal with the rest of the group on the trip last night and started early this morning seeing sights. first went to wat arun across the river to see an amazingly colourful and sparkly temple with the most ridiculously steep steps which we struggled to climb. then went to wat pho to see the huge reclining buddha.. everybody wants to sell us something or get us to ride on a tuck tuck.. we went to see the grand palace but it was closed till this afternoon as some queen or princess has died and her body is in there this morning.. so got a tuck yuk back to hotel with an aussie girl on my trip. were heading back to see the palace later. then all meeting back at 6pm tonight to head off down south and the overnight train. ill be glad to see a beach and have some tranquility as its hectic here, but good! xx
