hello all,

we arrived at krabi at around 12.00 noon after the overnight train and 2 bus journeys. had a quick lunch, rice and veg again.... then half the group went to the beach and half went kayaking. im sooo pleased i chose to go kayaking as it was brill. we paddled through a river past mangroves with huge cliffs as a backdrop. loads of exotic sounding birds and nobody else around apart from our leaders who thought it was halarious to splash us with loads of water and tip 2 girls in... (b*****s!) as we paddled we saw around 20 little macquek monkeys in the mangrove trees, so we got closer to them and just watched. then one of the swines jumped on my canoe then onto another trying to get into our waterproof packs to find itself goodies. it was amazing having a naughty monkey just brush past you.. we also saw a lizard type thing and other crabs and stuff. it was defo the highlite of the trip so far..... even though the sun was a bit overcast ive managed to catch the sun a little and get bitten twice by some insect??

there was a tiny weeny kitten at the hut from where we went kayaking which was adorable, i couldnt resist playing with it and having a cuddle to get my cat fix in!

were here for another day and night to do day trips to 4 little islands, including one called chicken island!! aparenlty theres no chickens on there, theres a rock that looks like a chicken, shame that! were off to have dinner together in a bit so im off now.
