We got back the day before new years to a nice hotel in the middle of the city and went out for a few drinks, not too many as we has an early start to get a good spot to watch the fire works. We went across to toronga zoo side of the harbour and to a spot called bradleys head where you can swim in the harbour during the day which was a good thing because it was so hot. We got a great spot and had a nice chilled out day eating and drinking, russell and me went for a walk to town to get some food for later while jojo kept an eye on our spot. The 9 pm fire works were great and where we were sat we could see the fire works by the harbour bridge and there were some just infrount of us. It was a bit boring sat in the dark waiting for midnight but it was worth the wait the fire works were amazing, it then took us 2 hours to get back to the hotel.

New years day we had a nice day walking round the city and eating some great food we had roo and croc, not bad the roo was nice. The next day we went to Toronga zoo for Russell's last day it was so busy but a great day out the best zoo i have been too, we got to hold a snake and an owl, i haev lots of pics. Then Russell went home and i went out of the city to camp with a friend from the west coast for two nights. Anne marie has been travelling with a couple form essex sharif and caroline who took us to see the blue mountains in their campervan, it was a fun day out, then to my shock on the way back they asked anne marie to join them in new zeland which they fly to on the 6th of jan an get another campervan and anne marie asked if i waned to go too. I cant wait so in a few hours i will be in christchurch and camping for the next few weeks.
