I had a few chilled out days in sydney before Russell arrived as the weather wasn't great, a friend of mine from the west coast jojo was around which was nice. We went to an open air cinema in the centenial park and watched the dutchess a good film i think it was a better story than australia. I grabbed myself a been bag bed very comfy and then we drank quite alot. the following night we went to the carols in the domaine part of the botanical gardens it was a great night but very busy and we couldnt get a seat near the stage or screens which was a shame but people had been camped there from the night before. It helpped to get us a bit more in the xmas sprit because it doesnt seem like xmas at all. Russell arrived and we spent the day on Bondi beach where they were filming bondi rescue, which is a programme that follows the life guards. Russell being a typical bloke wouldnt listen to me and didnt put enough sun screen on and got well and truely burnt, which is no fun. The next few days we spent seeing the usual sights like the gardens, china town, the opera house, the bridge, we went to manly for the day on the ferry and just looking around the shops. One evening we went to the imax cinema which is the largest 3d cinema in the world and watched wild ocean amazing and weird to see, we also visited the aquarium which is the beat that i have been too. The dugons are amazing to see and there ae only five in the world in captivity and we got to see two. Also a trip up the sky tower but the weather wasn't that good so not great, but the sky trek which is a 3d film with moving seats was fun.
Xmas day was spent in the botanical gardens and jojo joined us for the day, we were all recovering from a good night in the side bar seeing xmas in, and we had a lovely chicken lunch cooked by the wonderful coles ( a supermarket ) with salad, it was baking hot so we had a nice spot under a tree. I loved the card frome the dogs and horses thank you very much. I hope you all had a great day to xx
