I spent the morning really taking in the fact that I had just spent an entire weekend on a private party island in the middle of Halong Bay in Vietnam with the most incredible group of people. It was sad to be leaving but remembering I still have 4 months of this to go was a great feeling.

After relaxing all morning and having our final buffet lunch we began the trip back to Hanoi, starting with the final cruise through the unbelievable Halong Bay and its fishing villages. Everyone in the group had become so close on this trip and it was lovely. We had a mad bus ride through the mountains with vodka shots and party music (at around 12pm!) to end the trip on a last hurrah! After another hysterical boat and coach ride we finally made it back to Hanoi, and everyone was pretty dead by this point.

After checking in at Original Backpackers hostel the girls and I went back to Downtown for some food and a few drinks, and ended up having a well needed easy and earlier night after an unforgettable nuts weekend.
