Glad to have stayed in Hanoi another night to take it easy, I woke up for free breakfast and packed up my stuff - preparing for a lovely day of doing nothing. And it was actually a really perfect day of lounging around with all the people I had met over the past week watching movies and all wishing we didn't have to split up and go our separate ways!
For lunch I went and got a takeaway fried rice from a little street food place which was so cheap and delicious - I ate it on a Floor 5 with everybody else.
All the photos from the weekend went on facebook and just confirmed to everyone that we truly had the best group at castaway and the best weekend in Halong Bay. I so hope I get to see some of these people again! I ended up having a leisurely two hour nap on one of the sofas - thankfully no one toothpasted my face or shaved my hair while I was asleep like they had done to Ando the day before (don't fall asleep with a group of Aussies!).
I left with Natalie, Samantha and Lise to get the sleeper bus to the next destination and I can honestly say it is the COOLEST bus I have ever seen. I know you all know I get overly excited about silly things but no one can deny that a bus with individual leather reclining seats in three rows and two tiers is not great! We even had blankets and wait for it.... Wifi! Who would have thought in Vietnam the buses were this leisurely?! Plus, I met some really lovely people on the bus too making for a fun journey.
