Day 2 of the scuba training was much easier than day 1 and quite fun! We passed our exam with flyihng colours! (96%) We were happy with that and Anna went through the with us too so we could understand it all!
After our cheapest lunch yet (chicken noodle soup for a £1!) we got our kit and headed to the boat for a first 2 proper dives! We were equally nervous and excited but squashed it as much as possible and focused on the good stuff! We did some underwater skills first; mask emptying and regulator retrival. I only had one moments panick when i breathed in a slight bit of water, but i calmed down and all was well again!
We saw some cool stuff; parrot fish, damsal fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and, some other little ones we didnt know the names of but do bite!! We each had a nip (they nibble at wounds etc) but they leave you alone when you move! We liked swimming around as its much easier and you tend to forget about your breaathing! Its very tiring though and we are always ready to sleep after a long day diving! We are up at half 5 in the morning tomorrow for a dive! Apprantly its beautiful but we'll wait and see how worth it, it is!! We both really liike diving and think its great value for money here! Definitley recommend it!
Still looking out for turtles, so fingers crossed for our next two dives!!
