hello everyone!

We have arrived safe and sound, and the flight with EVA was good! sean was impressed by the interactive tv screens on the backs of the chairs! (small things...) very smooth flight and fine all bar one child crying in the middle of the night!

Once landed we got a taxi to our hotel which they hadnt heard off! which set our pulses racing! We also witnessed our first rain storm in the taxi and again had high pulses when we couldnt even see the road! He dropped us off near khao san and told us to walk! ( it was rush hour though so we forgave him!) After asking about 3/4 people we manged to stumble across our hotel!

Wild orhcid is great looking and has a very authentic decor! the room isnt as great as the photos but still good and clean! we cant complain! We showered and headed downstairs for our first taste of thai food and were impressed!! the satay pork was unbelieveable and the spring roll appertiser also filled us up to the max! We then decided we needed some TLC after our long journey and headed out to explore the streets of Bangkok, we then treated ourselves to a fish spa and a thai massage (but avoided the ping pong show!), both were brillant. The fish made your feet feel like they were vibrating and sean shrieked a couple of times!! O dear! :) the massage was £2 for 30 mins and was pure bliss! Although we did panic when they led sean upstairs!! But all was well and no surprises there! Totally relaxed we came back and decided to call it a day.
