Arrived in Hoi An at 4.30am and then it was an hour on the bus before we got to the hotel and luckily I managed to sleep through most of that.Arrived at the hotel and there were no rooms so I went up to the rooftop and slept on a deckchair by the pool for another hour before having breakfast and finally being able to check in after our tour guide kicked up a bit of a fuss.Went for a wander through the town and there are tailors everywhere.Had a coffee and had a look in a few of the tailors, a lot of them were really expensive (but still much cheaper than home) but there was one place that was doing really cheap suits so I ended up getting one for $40. You can barely get a pair of trousers in England for that these days!Went on a boat up the river in the evening which was really nice and there was a fisherman with his net that we all oohed and ahhed at.Came back and went to the tailors for the first fitting and the suit is amazing, really impressed and it is great quality.Dinner in a local restaurant which was OK and really cheap and then onto another cafe that did the most amazing cakes.Kimberley merry on one pina colada which we all found quiet sweet.Really good day.
