Arrvied on the train at 4am and it was then another 3 hours on the bus to Halong Bay.Had to stop the bus quiet a few times to let people off to be sick but apart from that it went quiet smoothly and I slept most of the way.Arrived at the hotel and by the time we had had breakfast the rooms were ready so had a shower and crashed for a few hours and dont have to meet until midday to go on the cruise.Only 14 of the 16 of our group made it onto the boat which I think was a real waste as the other two just stayed in bed.Why pay all of this money to come to such a beautiful country and then spend your time getting pissed and then missing out because you are soo ill the next day.Anyway...on the boat and had the most amazing seafood lunch.Quiet good as well as the other girls on my table seemed really fussy about the seafood so I had most of the good stuff to myself while they had the rice and chips, again what a waste.When we first set off on the boat it looked really misty and overcast but thankfully as we got nearer to the bay it started to clear up and we could see quiet clearly after that.The view fo Halong Bay is incredible, just so peaceful, i think that it was the first time since the trip started that I have actually heard Kim being quiet.Stopped off at a floating raft where all of our seafood had come from which was cool and I could see why the food was that good when it was all being caught fresh that morning.Headed on through the Bay and stopped off at a cave which was nice but a bit overdone on the fluroescent lighting.Brought some pearl earrings that actually come from the beds of Halong Bay which was pretty cool and I though was a great souveneir, especially for $2.Headed back around 4pm and had another shower and watched TV for a while before heading out for dinner.Bit of a disaster as hal the food didnt turn up and that that did was not that great.Ended up going to another restaurnat in the end as we hadnt eaten and even that wasnt that great, I think that we were spoilt this morning.Early one as everyone still exhausted from last night.
