Lond day of travelling. Heading to Vietnam. After a couple of hours on the bus we arrived at the border. Couldn'y believe that the one-car wide, dirt track that we drove on took us to an international border.

Immigration consisted of two barriers (the sort you get in a car park) and a few rickety huts. It took maybe an hour to get 16 of us through both sides which was really good. Then back on another bus to get to Chau Doc for an overnight stop.

Amazing how much the landscape changes within a few miles each way. Cambodia was really dry but the land in Vietnam looks quiet lush.

Arrived in Chau Doc, nice hotel had a chilled out afternoon and then went on a death trap on motorbikes up a hill to see the sunset. Really didn't think that we would make it up the hill on this little bike but we managed it somehow. Really good sunset but my camera got broken which was a bit of a bummer. However I am quiet suprised that it made it this far really.

Chinese New Year so lots of carnival stuff going on. Had dinner in the restaurant and then went up to the rooftop to watch the fireworks which were great.
