Just a quick post for today. We left mexico city! The trip to Oaxaca took about 7 hours as we got stuck in a bit of traffic in the mountains. At least the first class coaches are super comfy, and not expensive when you compare it to travel in the UK!

We got to the hostel we´d found online and were glad to find they had beds (it was raining and we didn´t much fancy hunting round). There are loads more traveller´s here which is nice and we´ve had some good conversations and tips so far. One guy we've met (from Australia) is travelling for a year and seems to do little else but sleep and drink beer.

We took a walk to the Zocolo in the evening and we´re relaxed by the really friendly atmosphere. Got ourselves some tacos and were completely stuffed for 1.50. I'm slightly worried about the fact that I have top bunk and there are no bars to keep me held in... I best not move too much in my sleep :/
