Really nice breakfast put on by the hotel, a lot of rice and noodles, but also eggy bread!!!
Had a wander down to the beach and used the Internet. Went to Oriental Village and went up in the cable car up into the mountains. The views from up there were incredible although the cable car wasn't exaclty sterdy! Really nice up there though and there was even a breeze, I haven't felt one of those in a while.
Had some lunch and headed back to the hostel. Sat by the pool and finished my book. Went and had a foot massage which was heavenly!
Picked up my washing, very strange system out here where you willingly hand over all of your dirty underwear for someone else to wash, dry and iron and then fold for you, I don't think my clothes have been this clean in months!
Sat and watched the sunset over the sea which was amazing and then sat and had some seafood at a tiny place on the beach. Really nice, I was tempted to try sea cucumber but I wasn't that brave in the end and opted for grouper and rice in the end with an amazing sauce which had 8 cloves of garlic in it, I counted.
There was live music on in one of the bars along the beach so sat on the sand for a while listening to a lot of 'The Eagles' sung with a malaysian accent, rather amusing. Some French guy thought I was from Newcastle.

Mazzie Wow Em, that sounds lovely. Somewhere warm and sandy. Better than cold and snowy! Still snowing here and we are due to get more. Dad says that someone has made a big snowman in the road!!! As you can imagine he is in his element playing up and getting excited like a child. Its lovely! Keep on enjoying your experience - what I would give to be where you are right now you lucky girl xx Love you Mazzie xxx
