Train journey all went well and I actually slept which was good. Arrived over an hour late though which was a bit annoying.

Tiny train station, actually there wasn't even a building, you just sort of got off the train into a field. Made it to the ferry terminal and sat and had coffee before getting on the ferry for a couple of hours to get to Langkawi.

There are no buses on the island so I had to get in a taxi to get to the hostel but thankfully all the rates on the island are fixed so I didn't get ripped off. Really beautiful here and it is soo nice to be away from KL. Hostel really nice and the bathroom is clean which is all i ever care about. Went for a wander and had some lunch. Went down and sat on the beach for a while watching all of the watersports and then came back and sat by the pool. Went down to the duty free shop and brought a bottle of wine for the evening, sat on the balcony with my book.
