Went to Church on Sunday before Rwanda. Madam Jane took us to an English speaking church in Kampala - Bless her, she's really trying to convert us :)Unfortunatly we may as well of gone to a Lugandan speaking church, as I couldn't hear anything the Priest was saying, so couldn't understand him. Sunday we met up with the girls to discuss plans over Christmas and New Year. We have found out that 6 of the older ladies who volunteer are retiring after 20 years service at Sanyu. The only problem is due to all the time they've been at Sanyu, they've had free accomodation, food etc and now that they're leaving, the leave with no money, some with no home or family! It's really sad. They are really really great with the children, lovely ladies. I think Sanyu has been trying to do some fundraising for them, I wished I'd known a while back ...

We tried Kampalas's night life last night and stayed in The Backpackers Youth Hostel for the first time.We really had a great time.
