We were up and packed for a 7:30 breakfast this morning and on the road by 8:30am heading for Fish River Canyon. Very, very cold night last night for our first nights camping - not a lot of sleep was had by anyone! Sparky provided us with bacon sarnies at 7:30am after we had packed up the tents and campsite and we were on our way again. We had a late start this morning - our temporary truck came to pick us up from Saasveld lodge at 11am, we will change to our permanent truck once we cross into Namibia. Our first full day in Cape Town, after a lovely sleep in our nice hotel we got up to explore. We wandered into town and saw the markets before making our way down to the V&A waterfront - lots of shopping and restaurants to explore.
