On Wednesday 6th March we flew from Hanoi to Bangkok in order to then travel down by sleeper train to Khao Sok national park. We had a whole day in Bangkok and we hasn't yet booked our sleeper train that we wanted to get later that evening! We had trouble getting 3 seats as we were so late but got there in the end.

That day we spent the day have a wander around mbk shopping centre in Bangkok, which has everything you could ask for! And everything that you can barter for! After our day of shopping we had to get back to the train station to catch our overnight train to Surat Thani station, which we would arrive at about 7 am. We departed the station at half 7 that night. The journey was very interesting, dinner and breakfast was awful so was lucky we brought a subway for dinner that night! Had a few hours sleep in the end and surprisingly comfy!!

After the train we had to get on an hour minibus which dropped us to this strange little bus station which was full of locals and then wait another hour until our bus departed for khao sok.... Finally! This took around 2 hours but we were happy to arrive.
