We travelled a short way to koh Tao from koh samui on the 20th, one our our shorter journeys taking 2 hours by ferry! We'd been told Tao is very good for diving and snorkelling which is why a lot of people go there, although we didn't really intend to!

We didn't have accommodation so our cab driver dropped us off to some bungalows which were not very nice so I wanted to move straight away! We went for a wander and shortly after found a really nice hotel 2 minutes away from the beach for a little bit more money but we were fine with paying it! We stayed in sairee beach which is the main backpacker place although the beach isn't one of the best in Tao!

The next day we went on a boat to nang yuen which is an island just off of koh Tao which has two little islands connected by a sand bank which you can walk across! The beach there was lovely but very hot and almost no breeze at all. That evening we went to a nice restaurant called barracuda which was recommended by trip advisor which was amazing food! Koh Tao is such a chill out island with lots of bars on the beach and fire shows!
