Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I'm useless!

So 4th march we travelled to Hanoi from nha trang. We flew as it would have taken us 14 hours by train and a whole day lost! We got a bit ripped off by the cab journey from the airport as we were told when we got to the hotel. The hotel we stayed at was right in the centre of Hanoi and really nice! We had a massive room with 3 huge beds, that evening we went out for some dinner to a nice little resturant hay recommended then an early night. I wanted to do halong bay but it was quite expensive and we only had a full day there so decided to do museums instead.

The next day we visited Ho chi minhs mausoleum- which basically is a massive tomb containing his mummified body, very weird! He looked like a wax work! Then we travelled to the prison which was remaining from the 1800s which they used to hoise the American pilots from the Vietnamese war, this was really strange as they were basically treated like kings and had everything from their normal day life in the prison, and even allowed to write to their families! After that we went to the market and had a wander. Back to the room for a nap and out for some dinner and a few drinks that evening.

The next morning we had to catch another flight back down to Bangkok so we had to wake up bright and early!
