we lost the cricket match :(

i did manage to catch one of the best players out so that gained me some brownie points. its was soo hot, reaching 43 degrees and we were in the midday sun, you can imagine how nice it was playing cricket, NOT!! i did have alot of fun, i got free food all weeekend and my room was paid for so altogether i only ended up spending money on fireworks (the town i was in is famous for fireworks, so i bought some for the kids)

this week at the project we havent been at the farm as we went to visit CCD which is a place 4 hours away. im still confused as to what it was, some medicinal plants packing factory, but with some scheme to help street kids. i was feeling ill so just lay in bed most of the time so didnt pay attention to the old man who talked and talked and talked, wow it was boring!! as all of us are now ill, we ended up staying in Madurai city, as my friend passed out so we had to go to hospital. i did go and see some temple ceremony in one of indias biggest temples it was pretty funny, and i had no idea what was going on the whole time. you cant take photos so i cant show you how strange it all was but nevermind.

i spent today selling organic compost on a market, everyone just comes over to stare at the white people, but it does help us sell the stuff so it all works out. we have a deaf guy that follows us everywhere. everyone gets annoyed at him but because i can talk to him i like him, he means no harm, he just wants some friends. hes currently sat right outside this internet cafe waiting for us to finish hehe. ill grab a photo of him!

there doesnt seem to be much to this project, i think im planting trees tomorrow! i just enjoy being around the indian culture its just so different to anything else you could experience. so much fun! il be home in like 6/ 7weeks how crazy is that!!
