yay i have photos woohoo!! that should keep you all happy :)

aww :( i left the ashram !!! it was soo sad at the weekend i was quite down just because i knew i had to say goodbye to everyone. no the sunday i came back to the ashram and all the children where doing the monthly president elections, they all elect a president of teh orphanage and then vote on who is in charge of what. afterwards i got made to sit at the front of the hall, and then they announced they would put on a party for my leaving. i was like WHAT?!?! it was a brilliant night, they performed lots of different dances, and even the boys did an extremely funny dance, then at the end i joined in and we had a disco, it was surprisingly similar to an english disco ( maybe it was nothing like it, its just because ive been away from home so long im going crazy) very hard work indian dancing i got soo hot. they presented me a trophey and a thankyou card lpus an apple hehe. the next day was the hardest, i spent most of the day at the deaf school as that is were all my friends are. i was suppose to leave at 2, but at 1:45 i got a phone call saying they would be late in picking me up and i wont leave till 6 i was sooo happy! i left the school at 3 when they went to class, but i didnt say goodbye as i thought it would be too hard. but when my car came at 6 he took me back to the school to say bye which im very glad about. i promised everyone i would come back to visit on the 14th so im counting down the days till then.

sooo... my new project what can i say. conservation...i work on a model farm which grows medicinal plants etc and we make organic compost from poo lovely! there are 4 other volunteers who have been extremely ill since monday (there has been 3 hospital visits) so not alot of work has been done and as i havent been shown what to do i havent done much. ive been to the farm to water the plants, ive mixed melted butter with 5kg of cow poo, and then yesterday i went to visit an organic sugar cane farm and interviewed the farmer. next week should be better as new volunteers are coming except they are all girls, (there will be 7 girls, could do with a mix really) so should get some work done.

just some info about that weddnig im going to, the women came to visit me on sunday gave me her invitation and has asked us to stay in her house for the 4 days around her wedding, i said yes as it would be very interesting, but she is a little creepy, she keeps phoning me and for no reason, and she says she has been thinking about us all the time, and that we have to promise to come to her wedding, i think she wants to secretly marry me and my friend

ok il stop there, hopefully by the next week i will have made up my mnd about when mi cmoing home but at the moment it is the 1st sept, as there is a huge estival on the 28th aug which i can dance in, so i want to stick around in india till then, would be a brilliant way to finish of my gap year.
