Today was a lazy day. Didn't get much done at all. Sorted out som schedule changes and booked a flight to Melbourne as all the good busses are fully booked.. Emelie slept for most of the day, Krista went for a run and made dinner. So the first day of the new year wasn't very productive. But tomorrow we're doing some more stuff, not lying in bed all day!

What a blisteringly hot day!! We didn't get out of the house until 12ish, a bit late considering the amount of people that were going to be in the city. After buying some provisions for the day, we took a bus to circular quay and headed for the opera house. Unfortunately for us we didn't realise we weren't allowed to take the alcohol we'd bought in with us. So had to chuck it on inspection. We've had a nice relaxing day on the beach today, working on our tans for new years eve! Other than that we've been working on a secret project that'll make us rich and famous! Moahahahahaha! (evil laugh) We had booked a trip to the blue mountains for tomorrow. Or so we thought.. It turns out today's the 30th not the 29th... So we've had to reschedule our trip there to the 2nd January instead! No we're gonna watch the muppets and get some beauty sleep!

Today we went to the state library of new south wales so Emelie could use the computer to put all her photos on her hard drive. Unfortunately the library was so high tech that the computers had been blocked. So it didn't work.. Went to the beach for a bit and worked out when we got home. Not a very productive day, but oh well. We're on holiday!

The plan of today was to walk the Harbour Bridge and do some last shopping for new years eve. We stopped by the shop where Emelie had seen the shoes yesterday, the thing was that they had raised the price. Yesterday the shoes had cost 20 dollars and today they cost 40 dollars? But when Emelie looked undecided the cashier lowered the price to 30 dollars, so she took them. Its the second pair of high heeled shoes she has ever bought, so she is still pretty stunned ...
