Today we went exploring Surfers Paradise before the bus left at 4pm, no pressure there. We bought some food at a supermarket for the entire day since eating at a restaurant is really expensive here. We took a look round town and the park, then headed to the main beach which was nice but the weather kind of ruined it. Grey and cloudy... Then we went back to the shoppingmall and bought ourselves one dress each on sale for New Years Eve. Krista's dress cost only two dollars, that's like a can of coke here. Nice backpacker budget!Then back to the hotel for some lovely sandwiches before departing Byron Bay. A girl we met on Fraser Island had tipped us about a nice hostel, so vi tried that. And it's awesome! What we thought would be a nice and calm evening turned out to be a party. There was this trivia contest which our team won, Wihoo 50 dollars free in the bar. We continued the night at Cheeky Monkey and came home around two am. Nighti!
