Finally caught up on our sleep! But we still had to check out of hostel at 10am. We headed for the Australian War Memorial, a building and museum dedicated to Australians who have served and died at war. We joined a free tour and got to see and hear about lots of interesting things. We hadn't realised how big it was, but it was massive. The tour took 90min and our guide had only shown and talked about a third of what was in there. After the tour we looked at an exhibition about australian war nurses called "Nurses: from Zululand to Afghanistan". It was quite interesting to see the change in medical care from the early 1910's - present day.
After a quick look in the gift shop we returned to Canberra Centre to get something to eat as Emelie was hungry. Then looked in some shops and found a nice park to relax in. Emelie is very disappointed with Canberra as a capital city, she thinks Sydney should be the capital instead because it has the opera house among other things.
Back on the greyhound to Sydney for our last night at Ada's. Tomorrow we're going on a day trip of the blue mountains then we're taking a flight to Melbourne!
