Day 354 (Sunday 23rd November 08) Did some more study and had some breakfast. Not a nice day at all, lots of rain! Drove up to Collingwood and out to the Farewell Spit. Luckily it stopped raining a bit once we were out there but could hardly see anything on the drive out there along the mountains. Parked up by the beach and had a wander along. Day 353 (Saturday 22nd November 08) Woke up to find someone else had parked up by us. Into the centre of Hanmer Springs for some breakfast and then onto fill up with some petrol before we ran out! Made our way further into the centre of the South Island through Springs Junction and Murchison. Another long drive all morning and getting very hungry but couldn't find anywhere to stop to make something to eat as the roads very windy! Again awesome scenery around us....

Day 352 (Friday 21st November 08) Into Kaikoura to have a look around and some breakfast. Went out to the end point where there were meant to be a lot of seals around. One on the rocks right infront of where we parked very close! Walked up the hill to the viewpoint which was a good view over Kaikoura and could see some seals playing in the water. Day 351 (Thursday 20th November 08) Made the most of the internet and power for the morning before we had to be checked out of the campsite. Luckily the day was looking to be a bit nicer! Headed across the country passing through Arthur's Pass. Amazing scenery passing through all the mountains. Day 350 (Wednesday 19th November 08) Off to find some toilets in the nearest town and then have some breakfast. Went through Hokitika and ended up in Greymouth. Popped into New World again and then found a campervan park. Made some lunch and chatted to the friendly owner about where he had been on his travels. Then went to use the internet.Had a nice spa in the evening as there was a free spa at the campsite. Freezing going back to the van in the cold and rain!
