Day 369 (Monday 8th December 08) Headed off early again and went to Taipa for breakfast. Then further along the coast having a look at the nice bays and harbours along the way. A nice scenic drive looking out to the Cavalli Islands. Then into Kerkeri to see the oldest stone and wooden building in New Zealand. Day 368 (Sunday 7th December 08) Luckily we were okay where we ended up for the night. Again up early and went to fill up on petrol before heading up to Cape Reinga. Amazing scenery along the way and pretty cool at the end, northern most point of New Zealand. We then headed all the way back down the road we came from. Day 367 (Saturday 6th December 08) Left Auckland and the campsite after saying goodbye to Annie and Willy. Started the drive up the west coast of Northland. Decided we didn't like the look of many places on the west coast as there were lots of signs up saying there was a lot of car theft. Day 360 (Saturday 29th November 08) Luckily were ok where we had parked up for the night so up early and straight away down to the Hot Water Beach car park. Had some breakfast and found out that the areas where you could dig a hot water spa where covered by the tide and wouldn't be exposed until about 2pm so decided we wouldn't hang around and headed further around the Coromandel Peninsula.
