Day 290 (Saturday 20th September 08) Had a relaxing morning making the most of the campervan park. Another hot shower and we had to be checked out by 10am. Day 289 (Friday 19th September 08) Once we were up headed for Bribie Island to have a look around. Unfortunately not a very nice day and raining so not really a good day for walking around. Drove around to see what was about and decided there wasn't much to do in the rain so back to the main land and headed south. Stopped in Deception Bay for a look and then onto Brisbane. Day 288 (Thursday 18th September 08) Not a very nice day. Rain in the night and still wet this morning. Headed for the cold showers in the public toilets which woke us up! Drove onto Australia Zoo and waited for it to open. Wandered around the massive park seeing all the different animals native and not. Went to the feeding time shows and the big Crocoseum. Very good show with one of the keepers messing around with one of the big saltwater crocodiles. Easily too...

Day 287 (Wednesday 17th September 08) 6am start to move out of the way and go and wait outside Wicked garage. Had some breakfast and looked through some brochures while we waited. The mechanic turned up at about 8:30am and had a look straight away. The mechanic and Mark went out for a drive so he could see what the problem was. Day 286 (Tuesday 16th September 08) A better night's sleep as it was so quiet and knew that no one was going to mind us staying there. Went for a very cold shower and had some breakfast. Then headed over to the wild dolphin feeding across the other side of the car park. Pretty amazing to see these wild dolphins come over to the slip to be fed, which they do most mornings.
