Day 280 (Wednesday 10th September 08) Another early start to be ready and get the train to find where we need to pick up our campervan from. Luckily managed to find it easily once we were there. Took a bit longer than we expected to sort everything out but we managed to get it all sorted and back to the Cosier's before Mum, Dad and Clare were leaving for the airport. Day 278 (Monday 8th September 08) Packed up our bags and sorted out the boat ready for leaving. Cooked some bacon on the BBQ and all the sunsail guys walking past were very jealous! Read our books and used the internet until it was time to go up to the airport. Checked in and then had a bit more of a wait. Day 271 (Monday 1st September 08) A very early start to be ready for the minibus to the airport at 6am. We all had good bacon and egg sandwiches before getting on our flight to Hamilton Island. Collected our bags and got picked up by Sunsail and taken to check in for the boat. Had a couple of hours to wait once we had finished that as the briefing and boat briefing wasn't until noon. Left our bags by the sunsail office and went for a walk to see what was around....

Day 270 (Sunday 31st August 08) We had an early start to go and watch the sunrise over Ayer's Rock as it had stopped raining and didn't look too cloudy! Nice to see The Rock in a different light. Back to finish packing and get ready to check out. Went and had a massive buffet breakfast again before getting the bags into the car and going for a drive around Ayer's Rock. Day 267 (Thursday 28th August 08) Another very early start to be ready for the minibus to the airport at 7:30am. A horrible rainy day! Fast driving to pick up and other people and to the airport. A good flight with Qantas to Ayers Rock which took nearly 4 hours. Picked up the hire car and drove to the hotel to check in. Unpacked and went for a swim.
