Sat 8th Mar: Went down to the shop as Luca´s family had made meringues especially. We took a photo of all his family outside the shop, his auntie and uncle were really touched with the picture, they all wanted to look their best for it as they are very proud of their appearance. This was the first picture they had outside of the shop in 40 years.

I got Emily a small chocolate egg and a bunch of Mimosa flower as it was viva la donne. Which is day to celebrate women, similar to Mothers Day but everyone gets something! Mimosa flowers are the traditional plant given to your loved ones.

As it was our last weekend in Chiavari we had some dinner at home and then got sorted out and dressed up to go out clubbing. We went to meet their friends in a restaurant and had a quick drink, then went to a wicked wine bar had a well nice bottle of wine (thats coming from me), Then tried to get into Sol Levanti but was quing for an hour and had no joy. Bed at bout 3.30am all good.

Sun 9th Mar: The plan was to have a bbq with everyone round the weather was rubbish so Lorenzo turned up for lunch in another cashmere jumper (he wears nothing else!). Had a wicked ravioli it was stuffed with pumpkin (according to kirsty this time of year it is like gold dust, but Luca managed to get some). Emily didn´t like it as it tasted a little bit like marzipan. Just had a nice relaxed evening and Marchello came round to say bye. Baileys made himself comfy on our bed and stayed with us the whole night - looks like he knew we were leaving!
