The drive to Airlie was fine and fair.
It's a beautiful country and you cannot imagine till you get here how vast it is.
Mission beach was lovely, and in truth I prefer it to Airlie. Which is beautiful, but much more commercial.

Our apartment at Airlie was a dream, it was as lovely as Townsville was nondiscript.

I don't know how much it cost a night, but I am grateful for a kind and generous husband!

The trip from Airlie to Daydream was a joy, A trifle breezy, but who cares. It blows the cobwebs away, and I had my hat securely fastened.

A lovely couple of days. Expensive though. You are a captive audience after all. But all in all pretty blissful.

Next stop Brisbane?
