I'm off to Ljubljana today! It's a 2 hour bus drive from zagreb! I got to sleep in this morning because my bus wasn't until 1:00pm! I checked out of the hostel and got a lift to the metro station to catch it in to town! I still had Kuna left over so I bought my groceries at the supermarket before leaving. The bus drive went nice and quickly and before you knew it I had arrived! There was no problem at all finding the hostel as it was nice and close to the bus station! The hostel I'm staying at is amazing! It's being renovated as it's an old school and everything is brand new! I'm staying a 3 bed dorm and the room
Is sectioned off in to 3 little rooms and you have your own wardrobe, desk, shelves and bed! It's really amazing! When I was walking down the hallway to reach the stairs to get to my dorm I spotted a washing machine! I didn't even make it to my room! I unzipped my bag and through every item of clothing in my bag in to the wash and finally cleaned my clothes!! After I had settled in to my room and my washing was done I wandered in to town. Ljubljana is a beautiful little town and very, very small! The town is situated around a river that flows through the town, it has three main bridges and up on the hill to the north of the town is a castle! After a few hours of wandering around I ventured back to the hostel to cook dinner! I made a delicious pasta and enjoyed every bit of it! After dinner I crawled in to bed and took advantage of the free WIFI. As I was getting ready for bed I got a room mate! Yay!! She was nice, normal and to top it off she was from Australia!! :) After we talked for a while I went to sleep - I have an early morning!! I'm off to Piran tomorrow! The coast of Slovenia!
