Today is my last day in Europe! I have a feeling of mixed emotions! I'm excited, but I'm sad! This morning I woke up and completely sorted through my bag and sorted through what I needed in these final days. After I had packed I checked out and had a few hours to burn. The girl sharing my dorm was in the same boat as me so we went to McDonald's as it had free wifi and grabbed some breakfast. After brekky we said our good byes and separated. I still had some time to kill before catching the bus to the airport and meeting Martin, so I wandered around the town. It really is a beautiful place! There were markets and buskers everywhere and along the river was a boat sailing up stream with two ladies performing- their voices were amazing. It was something I will never forget. After a while I met Martin and we walked up to the old castle and had a look around- it wasn't an easy walk!! It was so steep!! After we'd looked around the castle we walked back down to the main square and continued looking through the markets before having to collect our bags. We decided we'd get to the bus stop early and lucky we did because the bus came 15minutes early and didn't wait for anyone to arrive! We made it to the airport, checked in and said our goodbyes. It was sad to say good bye- Martin was lovely and when I return I will definitely contact him :) I'm starting to get so excited to go home- I'm missing Simon like crazy and I'm excited to be with the group again!! I got to Stansted airport and Erin was already there. It was so nice to see her and so relieved to be in an English speaking country! We got a taxi to our hotel and took some time to relax before getting dinner. Just across the road from where we were staying was a huge food court. We got chicken burgers and sat and talked for hours about what we'd been up to- it was really nice :) On my way back I stubbed my toe and left a lovely blood blister and bruise which I'm sure will be with me for the next few months to remind me of my time in Europe, ha ha :)
