I have had the most incredible day! Plitvice was absolutely stunning! Everything about it was amazingly beautiful, untouched and natural! I got up nice and early so I could spend the day at plitvice! The reception drove me to the tram station and I caught the tram to the main bus station. I had an hour or so to wait so I grabbed some things to take with me because I'd heard there wasn't much to eat! I've found that Croatia has the best bakeries! So I grabbed some breakfast before I left! The bus took just over 2 hours. when I got there I went and bought my ticket and started the trails. To get over to a few of them you have to catch a boat. All I can say is wow! It was the most beautiful thing I've seen this whole trip! It's as beautiful as Switzerland but in a completely different way! It's a national park made up of 6 lakes. The colour of the water is turquoise blue! The water is so clear that even in the middle you can see the bottom! It's hard to believe that it even exists!! Everything around it is so green and you are surrounded by beautiful waterfalls! Words can't even describe how amazing it was! You need to see it to believe it! Eventually it came time to leave and I had to catch a bus back to Zagreb! When I got back I walked in to town and did some sightseeing. Zagreb is really beautiful in the old town with it's old buildings and cobblestone paths! After a few hours I was exhausted!! I wandered back to the tram station and caught a tram and bus back to the hostel! I hopped in to bed with my left over pizza and eventually went to sleep! I'm off to my last European country tomorrow - Slovenia!! :)
