Simon goes home today!! :(:( We got up early to walk down to the port so Simon could catch his bus to the airport and I could catch my ferry to Hvar. The line to check in for my ferry was huge so Simon could only stand with me for a short time before having to leave. Even he thought of him leaving the past two days made me all teary. I didn't want him to see me cry because I felt so silly! It was only 10 days apart! When we left he gave me a big cuddle and kissed me on the forehead before quickly crossing the road. When he was walking away he said good bye but I couldn't reply because I was using every I had not to cry, but of course it didn't work and when we turned around and waved good bye I had a little sob :( he was across the road and I already missed him! I'm a big sook!! Ha ha. The line for the ferry was moving very slowly, luckily their computers went down and we were sent straight to the boat to board! I got a spot on the top deck where I sunbaked and read eclipse for the duration of my trip. Croatia is really beautiful! It's so green, clean and the water is a really beautiful colour! After 8 hours I arrived in Stari grad with no idea how to go to the Hostel! The map I was sent was from the Carpe Diem port in Hvar. I saw a bus going to Hvar so I thought I'd try my luck and catch it in to town and then I could ask people where to go. I hopped off the bus and standing right before me was Dink himself holding the sign for the hostel! I walked straight up to him and got a lift to the hostel! The staff at the hostel are absolutely lovely, it's really clean and it has a kitchen!! Yay!! I'm staying in a dorm with 3 boys - they are from all over the world! Brazil, Italy and Korea. Tano, from Korea is one of the sweetest boys I've ever met! Within 10 minutes of knowing him he had given me a face mask because I was sunburnt, a map for Ljubljana and pins to lock my bag! He had a D&M with me about how he is really shy and he hasn't been swimming because he can't swim! He is so sweet! I hadn't eaten the whole day because I couldn't find the bar on the boat so I just gave up! When I got settled at the hostel I walked down to the shop and bought some groceries for the next 3 days! For 3 breakfast and dinner meals and drinks it only cost me 70 Kuna which is less than 10€! I went back and cooked a huge pasta! I was ravenous! I met 2 guys from New Zealand and 1 from Sweden! A group of people were going out but I'm so relaxed the last thing I've felt like doing is going out, so I was boring and went to bed. I think I checked my messages about 5 times before I went to bed to check if Simon had messaged me! I got so excited when he had :)
