HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY NANNA!! I hope you have a beautiful day! Lots of love, Ellie X X X
I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning and I went down to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast and sat on the table overlooking the ocean while I ate! Before I went in to town I laid down and read my book. Tano was still in the room laying down doing nothing, so when I got up to go in to town I invited him to join me. He appreciated the offer and was quick to accept! We walked through the small town and made our way up to the fort! It was on the top of the hill and in the heat it was so hot! When we got to the top it was completely worth it! The views were beautiful! It overlooked the whole town! After we wandered around the fort we made our way back in to town and at this point all I wanted was ice-cream! It was just too hot! After we stopped off for ice-cream we headed to the beach for a swim! Obviously Tano didn't swim but I jumped in for a dip and the sunbaked for a while to dry off! There are a few islands close by to Hvar that I wanted to go and explore! We caught a boat for only 30kuna out to the islands. Both islands had nudists beaches so it was a shock to see completely nude people walking around! I walked to the other side of the island and found the most beautiful each I had ever seen! It had big white pebbles and rocks and the water was as clear as clear can be! It was breathtaking! After I went for a swim we went to the bar on the island and had a drink! After a while we headed back to Hvar and went back to the hostel to make some lunch! I made some pasta and relaxed and read my book for a while before heading in to town as the sunset. It was really pretty! Tano came along with me and we sat down for some pizza at a restaurant on the water front. It was really cheap! I paid 6€ for a pizza and drinks! I still can't believe beer is cheaper than water and soft drink! It's bizarre! After dinner we wandered back to the hostel and I hopped in to bed and read my book before going to sleep. I haven't felt this relaxed in years!
