This morning we were again left in the OR to find things to do. So we watched a hysterectomy from the window (usually you're not allowed in surgery unless you have a doctor with you, but sometimes if you ask the surgeon he/she will allow you into the room to watch). Up again at 7am, packed lunch, had breakfast and onto the bus before waiting for our doctor for an hour. She finally arrived and took us to the OR where we were told there would be ob/gyn related surgeries. So we dressed into surgery scrubs and went to room 8 where we were told we'd meet her. An hour later she still hasn't arrived and it seemed like she'd left us fend for ourselves so we wandered around the OR watching bits of surgery through the windows b...

Today was a day when bed seemed like a better option than anything else. I needed a day to myself so I spent the day hanging out at the Gap Medics house reading and watching movies in bed. I've been away from home for three weeks now and I suppose the lack of sleep and being busy every day finally caught up to me. Hopefully tomorrow brings motivation!

Back to the early morning wake ups, it'll be so lovely to have a sleep in next weekend!
