Today has been exhausting but great. There have been issues like where to eat lunch and is there time for another G&T but these serious matters were solved by finding a street cafe serving Arabic food and of course there was. The highlight of today for me has been walking to the twin towers, that’s after walking through the Botanical gardens, some Square and Little India. I only knew you could do it by listening to something that had nothing to do with me....

Start well and it can only get better - although it is hard to see how. Yesterday I had strangers using their wifi to ensure I got the right Monorail to the hotel, a french girl (living here) chatting to me and a foot massage to die for. Today started not so well - at least that what I thought at the time - I bought a two day ticket for the hop on hop off open topped bus. Between stop one and two I went to get my glasses out of my bag and you guessed it out cam...
