Hi everyone,

Hope you are all happy and well. I attempted to update my blog in Bangkok but unfortunately it wouldn't upload. Bangkok was an experience! It's quite smelly in most places and mentally busy. Plus there are the many 'helpful' locals who try and trick you into thinking where you are headed is shut and you should go somewhere else - so many scammy people. We started to get quite mad at it and wanted everyone to leave us alone - especially after we found out they were all talking b******s!

We are now in Sukhothai, which was the first capital of Thailand so we're planning a day of sight seeing tomorrow at the ruins which are across the road from our guest house. So far the places we have stayed at have been great fun. We have met lots of people. Partied on a house boat on the River Kwai and then stayed in Ayuthara (sp?!) with a great family run hostel. Som-Sri - the elder lady in charge was brilliant, and the whole family were lots of fun and very friendly. They kept feeding us! We left this morning, it was very sad because they welcomed us like part of the family.

Anyway, just a short one for now. We've had a bit of a long day travelling up here so plan on an early night.

Am missing home and everyone lots but will update you soon and load some of our many photos!
