What a palaver... It turns out my bus wasn't going to be running for a good few days, so I had to find another way to get up to Jericho. The people at Outbackpackers were pretty helpful and managed to get me a flight for this afternoon to come up to Rockhampton, which is as far north as I have to come so at least I've made a bit of progress! Gotta catch a bus tomorrow, and I have everything crossed that it is running! I find it quite amusing that I came all the way to Australia only to have plans messed up by RAIN of all things... Still, it's made the farmers happy, they've been wanting rain for years aparently. From what I've seen of Rockhampton so far it seems pretty nice, very tropical! The hostel seems pretty good too. I'm just going to relax tonight as my bus (WILL-positive thinking) leaves bright and early in the morning! Keep in touch :) xx
