We are four days into our language classes and the kids camp. There are a fair number of Americans, mostly from the West Coast who are staying in San Sebastian with kids going to the same Spanish camp. Who knew that there were so many Americans that head off to Europe for the whole summer with their entire family?

I am enrolled in the most beginner Spanish class, Nick is in the most advanced. Nothing like being a novice Spanish speaker in a Spanish class filled with 20 year old Europeans (from Germany, Holland, Switzerland) to make you feel incredibly humble and realize how Anglo-centric we are in the US. Needless to say, I have a lot to learn and a lot of work to do with my pronunciation.

Definitely fun to chat with these high school and college kids and to learn how adventurous they are.
