After Byron Bay, we went on a one day tour to Nimbin which is a very alternative hippie sort of town but quite a bit of fun to visit. The little street was full of hippie culture and little independant herbal shops full of everything and anything... the little town did also inculde a fe slightly stranger people aswell.On the way back, we stopped off at a few viewpoints on the way and a waterfall that I jumped off- check the picture out for my Jesus impression!!

Spent a weekend in Byron Bay after the surf trip which was a really nice little town. Very seaside and surfery and a great place to chill out on the beach after a tiring week of surfing! Lots of the people who were on the trip stuck around for a while so it was good to chill out with them for a while.Matt and I aslo got up ridiculously early to watch the sunrise by the Byron Lighthouse- the most easternly point in Australia- which was quite spectacular.

My final weekend was quite busy in Sydney. On the friday it was Australia day so therefore a national holiday. Unfortuantly my tour to the Blue Mountains, just outside Sydney was a bit of a disaster. After days of wall to wall sunshine, I was greated by a very cloudy and drizzly day... by the time my tour reached the mountains it was very very foggy and could literally see nothing of the mountains at all other than a white sheet of fog.
