Siti Khadijah Market
A prominent and not to miss landmark when one visits Kota Bharu, Kelantan. A market where the customary fresh vegetables fish fruits and poultry are sold alongside almost all other must have goodies sought by tourist. Local delicacies , keropok and batik are in abundance. Shoppers will be spoiled for choices. Though known for it's low price haggling is not uncommon and most welcome. School holidays will see a surge in number of local tourist flocking the green and round shape market to the brim. Being a state under the control of opposition islamist party, PAS, and the longest so far, almost 20 years, does not deter visitors from coming by the bus loads armed with thick wallet and left smiling with both hands strained from the weight of their loots. Just by being there in the thick of activities is a delight to senses.
