A prominent and not to miss landmark when one visits Kota Bharu, Kelantan. A market where the customary fresh vegetables fish fruits and poultry are sold alongside almost all other must have goodies sought by tourist. Local delicacies , keropok and batik are in abundance. Being a state under the control of opposition islamist party, PAS, and the longest so far, almost 20 years, does not deter visitors from coming by the bus loads armed with thick wallet and left smiling with both hands strained from the weight of their loots.
